1.      That the approach outlined in the report for the creation of Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire be endorsed.

2.      That Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire be established as a legal entity through the setting up a corporate body in the form of a company limited by guarantee with charity status.

3.      That the Council will grant fund this company, by means of a service level agreement, to provide the statutory functions of a local Healthwatch organisation under the Health and Social Care Act 2012.

4.      That the Council will performance manage Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire against a service specification issued by the Council.
