Purpose:
The Local Transport Plan (LTP) provides the
strategic framework for investment in transport across the
authority. It is proposed to update and replace the current LTP
with a new Plan which takes into account political, financial and
economic changes since the current document was adopted in April
2011.
This item relates to securing support and approval for the
overarching vision and objectives of the LTP together with the
structure of the Plan.
Decision:
1. That the production of a new Local Transport Plan be approved.
2. That the vision and objectives of the new Plan be endorsed.
3. That the timetable for its production and adoption be supported.
