The Council as Lead Local Flood Authority for the area is required to provide a review of its 2011 ‘Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment’. This is a national requirement on all unitary and top tier authorities under the Flood Risk Regulations 2009 and needs to be completed by June 2017.

That the main findings of the Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment review be approved and submitted to the Environment Agency by the statutory deadline, 22 June 2017.
