Application for a Private Hire Operator Licence To consider a report of the Director of Community Services seeking a decision whether or not to grant a Private Hire Operator Licence to Mr H in view of the location of the proposed operator premises. Minutes:
The Committee received and considered a report of the Community Services Director seeking a decision whether or not to grant a private hire operator licence to Mr H in view of the location of the proposed operator premises.
The applicant and his representative attended the meeting and made representations in support of the application.
The Licensing Officer from Luton Borough Council raised an issue regarding a possible legal challenge. The debate ensued and it was agreed that the meeting would be deferred to allow the Legal team the opportunity to determine the way forward.
