Petition - To Change Speed Limits at Husborne Crawley pdf icon PDF 59 KB

The purpose of this report is to present a petition received from the residents of Husborne Crawley for changes to speed limits and to seek approval for a response to it.

 

Decision:

that the contents of the report be noted and that the suggested response as follows be approved:-

That whilst taking into consideration the concerns of the residents, the current speed limit not be reduced from 40mph to 30mph.  However, the road will be re-assessed for additional coloured patches and speed roundels if required to enforce the existing speed limits.  In addition, the area will be placed on the mobile vehicle actuated speed signs owned by Central Bedfordshire Council and available for temporary use.

Ridgmont - Proposed Traffic Calming and 20 mph Zone pdf icon PDF 66 KB

The purpose of this report is to consider objections received as a result of statutory consultation for the introduction of a 20mph Zone in Ridgmont and the implementation of associated traffic calming, and to seek approval for the implementation of the project.
