Decision:

The Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities and Healthier Lifestyles noted the contents of the report as followed:-

 

1)                 that discussions between officers of the Council and the school continue to resolve the school crossing patrol situation.

 

2)                 that a one way traffic order not be considered for Manor Road, due to it being counter productive to reducing vehicle speed.

 

3)                 that the 20mph speed limit be considered as part of the Central Bedfordshire Council review of schools in villages.

Residents' Survey & Report - Parking Restrictions in Kendall Drive, Flitwick pdf icon PDF 70 KB

The purpose of this report is to present a residents’ survey concerning parking in the Kendal Drive area of Flitwick.

Decision:

that the Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities and Healthier Lifestyles noted the contents of the report and that a consultation, finances permitted, be carried out with the residents of the Kendall Drive Estate.

Manor Way, Flitwick - Resolution of objections to the proposed Prohibition of Waiting pdf icon PDF 231 KB

To report  to the Portfolio Holder for Safer and Stronger Communities the receipt of objections to proposals for waiting restrictions in Manor Way , Flitwick and seek approval for the implementation of this scheme.

Decision:

that the proposal to extend the existing No Waiting Restriction in Manor Way, Flitwick by 20 metres, as detailed in the report, be implemented.
