At the
Children’s Trust Board meeting on 5 December 2016, the Board
considered and supported new, leaner and more responsive
partnership strategic leadership arrangements to better support
partners in responding to current areas of focus and challenges. As
a result, the existing Children’s Trust Board and its sub
groups have been replaced with arrangements which
include:
Children’s Leadership Board – provides strategic leadership to improve the health and
wellbeing of children and young people in Central Bedfordshire.
Core members include senior leaders from Central Bedfordshire
Council, Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group, Bedfordshire
Police and schools. This meeting is not a public one.
The
Children’s Leadership Board influences and links to numerous
boards such as the Health and Wellbeing Board, Central Bedfordshire
Safeguarding Children Board and the Partnership Vision for
Education Board.
Stakeholder Forum – enables
engagement with a wider range of partners and interested parties on
key issues.
‘Youth Central’ - a
Children and Young People’s Board which ensures that children
and young people can influence strategies and services and provide
challenge to partners.
