Potton Road Traffic Management
We the undersigned petition the council to Improve traffic management for Potton road
Provide more off street parking for residents to ease congestion and improve traffic flow
Introduce speed bumps to reduce speeding
Potentially implement a one-way system to reduce traffic volume
After the recent housing developments such as the King’s Reach, there has been an significant increase in road traffic on Potton road.
Potton road is a main link between the new housing estate and the A1, the town centre, Sainsbury’s and Asda. Improvements need to be made to reduce ease congestion and reduce traffic volume on this road.
Speed bumps need to be introduced to prevent people speeding on this stretch of road which is used by children to walk to and from the Edward Peake Middle School.
This does not take into consideration the Hallam proposal which could see an additional 416 homes built.
