The report will present a case for progressing compulsory purchase order (CPO) powers to bring empty homes back into occupation. The report will request the use of CPO for a particular identified case but will also seek delegated authority for further CPO cases to the Director of Social Care health and Housing in consultation with the relevant Executive Member.
