Consultation process
As per DfE guidance, this proposal has been subject to a two part consultation: a preliminary consultation by the Governing Body of Ivel Valley Community Special School and a statutory consultation by CBC.
Consultees for both consultations included staff and parents of children at Ivel Valley Community Special School, trade union representatives, Biggleswade Town Council, the local diocese, CBC Ward Members, all other schools within Central Bedfordshire, the local MP and the general public
