To report  to the Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities and Healthier Lifestyles the receipt of a number of objections to proposals for a one way system, waiting restrictions and a no right turn ban on the western access loop road to Arlesey Station, and seek approval for the implementation of this scheme.

Decision:

that the proposal to introduce the one way system, waiting restrictions and no right turn ban be implemented in accordance with the phases, to be agreed by the Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities and Healthier Lifestyles.

Lincroft and High Street, Cranfield - Resolution of objections to the proposed Prohibition of Waiting pdf icon PDF 211 KB

To report  to the Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities and Healthier Lifestyles the receipt of two objections to proposals for waiting restrictions in Lincroft and High Street, Cranfield and seek approval for the implementation of this scheme.

Decision:

that the proposal to introduce No Waiting At Any Time Restriction at the junction of Lincroft and High Street, Cranfield be implemented as set out in the report.

The purpose of this report is to present to the portfolio holder for safer communities and healthier lifestyles representations received on the proposal to implement traffic calming measures in University Way Cranfield and to seek approval for a course of action .

Decision:

that the Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities and Healthier Lifestyles noted the contents of the report and agreed to the implementation of the scheme as proposed.

To report to the Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities and Healthier Lifestyles the receipt of objections to a proposal to install a build-out and flat-topped road hump on Appenine Way, Leighton Buzzard.

 

Decision:

that the proposal to install a build out and flat-topped road hump on Appenine Way, Leighton Buzzard be implemented as advertised.

7.

Petition - For the Introduction of Parking Restrictions in Faynes Court, Sandy pdf icon PDF 207 KB

The purpose of this report is to present a petition received from residents of the Faynes Court and Sunderland Road area of Sandy.

Decision:

that the Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities and Healthier Lifestyles noted the contents of the report and that officers be asked to investigate the extension of yellow lines into Faynes Court thus removing parking congestion at the entrance to the court.

Petition - Request for Traffic Calming Lowther Road Dunstable pdf icon PDF 57 KB

The purpose of this report is to present a petition received from residents of Dunstable seeking Traffic Calming measures in Lowther Road Dunstable and to seek approval for a response.

Decision:

that the Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities and Healthier Lifestyles is requested to note the contents of the report and agree a response to the lead petitioner to inform her of that.  In addition, ward members and local councillors be consulted prior to detailed drawings being finalised.
